Datamate B-Connect

B-Connect is the employee portal we designed for Datamate. Announcements, the phone book, the cafeteria menu, leave, equipment, documents, requests and approvals sit in one app with one search and one menu, on desktop and on the phone, so people start their working day in the same place.

My Page shows each person's leave balance and history, personal records, assigned equipment, reporting staff and their approvals. The company area holds employee details, the holiday calendar, the org chart and management documents; the calendar shows the day, week, month or year with colleagues on leave.

Requests are tracked as a list or a board, approvals arrive in their own queue, and projects run with lists, boards, a Gantt chart, sprints and timesheets. The help desk groups topics and frequent questions and opens a request when nothing fits.

Expense claims are filed with receipts and invoices and move through a visible approval flow: accounting, managers and the general manager, each step with its status and time. Accounting can adjust amounts and check every receipt, on desktop or on the phone.
